Tradition VS Digital

I don't get the whole Saturday off-
I've got stuff to do in the mornings...
to technically, Friday is NOT the day that marks freedom for me..
ANYWAYS, picked up on drawing again-
I'm just doing quite the random things, now. I do want to work with water colors, but I am still sticking with colored pencils for now, and trying to get used to my new drawing pens/watercolor pens- they are really fun to work with
and I'm trying to find a good scanner so I can scan in my colored drawings...mostly done in colored pencil. I wanted to start doing comissions, but I need to have some stuff up that SHOWS that I am capable of drawing, right?
that's where digital art comes in. I've never, EVER worked with Photoshop before- but I got the feeling that a lot of anime/graphic art comissions are done/colored/finalized with CG- and I don't know how to do that.
maybe I'll practice- and hopefully, get better.
but for now, I'll stick with tradition and draw with pencils, pens and colored pencils..:3

okie, so as creepy as it may sound, I FINALLY found out Kylah's DA account- so I went to creep on her account, leave a message or two to see if she responds, then I went through her comment list for people who commented on her stuff cause I just KNEW that there were people there that I actually knew..
that's how i found tayo, 'cause he had a huge picture of his face on his profile.

I started the GAC up again this year, but unfortunately, It has seriously deteriorated. I pretty much left because all the seventh graders took over and most people left. I couldn't really lead the club because A) I was the only 8th grader, and B) I could never plan anything ever because all the 7th graders had lunch at a diff. time than me. But anyway, good to hear from ya.

i've been talking with Lisa lately, and she's been talking as if GAC was flourished even more or something..

yeah, sounded like Lisa, Maria and Aina's been taking charge of everything, and even they've been having constant fights..
still, I'm so happy that something Kylah and I've created is still alive..
so how's 8th grade? hard enough??? XD
seriously, I think besides the end of the year trip, 8th grade year was WAAAY boring..
besides, yeah, DC and ruling over the whole school crap..
probably 'cause they took away one elective last year, and I had the same exact schedule EVERY SINGLE DAY for the whole year.
